Property and Cancellation Policies

Full Charge - Full Stay - If cancelled within 7 days of arrival

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all reservations, stays, and services provided by Hotel Oxford (“the Hotel”), located in Oxford, Mississippi. By booking a stay or checking into the Hotel, guests agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Prices and Taxes

  • All room rates are quoted in U.S. Dollars (USD).
  • Rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes, including Mississippi sales tax and Oxford lodging tax.
  • Rates may vary depending on the date, availability, and season. Prices may change without prior notice.
  • Additional fees may apply for extra services, special requests, or incidental charges.

2. Payment and Terms at Check-in / Check-out

  • A valid government-issued ID and a credit/debit card are required at check-in.
  • Full payment for the total stay, including taxes and a $100.00 security deposit, is required upon check-in.
  • Check-in time: 3:00 PM
    Check-out time: 11:00 AM
  • Late check-outs are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • Any damages, missing items, or unpaid balances will be charged to the card on file.

3. Traveling with Minors

  • Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • The Hotel does not assume responsibility for supervising minors.
  • Families traveling with minors are responsible for ensuring children’s safety and behavior throughout their stay.

4. Accessibility or Special Needs

  • The Hotel strives to accommodate guests with disabilities or special needs.
  • Guests requiring accessible rooms or special accommodations are encouraged to contact the Hotel in advance.
  • While all reasonable efforts will be made, requests are subject to availability.

5. Parking

  • On-site parking is available.
  • The Hotel is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to vehicles or their contents.
  • Guests must follow posted parking rules and instructions from staff.

6. Dispute Resolution / Issues

  • Guests should report any concerns or issues to the Hotel front desk promptly for resolution.
  • The Hotel aims to resolve all concerns in a fair and timely manner.
  • Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi.
  • Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be settled through binding arbitration in Mississippi.

7. Use of Personal Information

  • Personal information is collected for reservation processing, payment, guest identity verification, and service improvement.
  • The Hotel respects guest privacy and will not sell or share personal data with third parties except as required by law or to process reservations.
  • By staying at the Hotel, guests consent to the use of their information as outlined.

8. Liability

  • Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. The Hotel is not liable for loss, theft, or damage unless legally required.
  • The Hotel is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages occurring on the property unless caused by the Hotel’s negligence.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage to Hotel property caused by themselves, their visitors, or minors under their supervision.

9. Force Majeure

The Hotel is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Power outages
  • Acts of terrorism
  • Pandemic-related disruptions
  • In such cases, the Hotel may modify or cancel reservations without liability.
  •  10. Third-Party Rights

    These Terms are for the benefit of the Hotel and the guest only. No third party has any rights to enforce or rely on these Terms.

     11. Waiver

    Failure by the Hotel to enforce any part of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of its rights. All rights remain enforceable at any time.

     12. Severance

    If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
